MRI OF LEFT KNEE
===============

Coronol T2 & STIR, sagittal T1 & T2 and axial T2 sequence of the knee was performed.

The anterior and posterior ligament are intact with no signal abnormalities seen. No tears present.

This is grade signal hyperintensity in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus is intact wth mild degenerative hyperintensities.

Both collateral ligament are intact with no tears seen.

There is no evidence of any bone oedema as seen in the T2 coronal with fat saturation. There is a subarticular focus in the lateral aspect of the medical femoral condyle with is hypointense in T1 and hyperintense inT2 and FLAIR suggestive of an osteochondral lesion or cyst. Mild to moderate joint effusion present.

IMPRESSION :
===========

1. Grade 2 signal hyperintensity in the posterior horn of medial meniscus.

2. Intact lateral meniscus with mild degenerative hyperintensities.

3. Subbarticular focus in the lateral aspect of the medical femoral condyle suggestive of
anosteochondral lesion or cyst.

4. Mild to moderate joint effusion.
