Yesterday was my birthday, so I received lots of greeting from my friends through sms and facebook. Some of them I replied back with a joke note " Thanking for reminding me that I am near to my expire date ". Co -incident my birthday date is same with the Maggi Road Show so I celebrate my birthday with a grand Dinner sponsored by Maggi Brand without a cake and birthday announcement. No candle and no special gift except received a surprise news from OAJ, market work with HOU brand person. I have been working 12 years in Nestle and never before any visitor do a market work with me except my FSE and ABM. A bit nervous and I was started to call the Merchandiser to make sure that everything in order. After the dinner I went home because no room was provided for local Rep.
I was told by OAJ to fecth them at the Hotel Lobby together with Finas our lady FSE. Finas told me that they haven't take any breakfast yet so I took them to Subaidah Nasi Kandar. As usual I ate Vadai with the coconut sauce. Then I proceed to CHHK to meet YKM and Warehouse for a quick tour. We visited 5 outlets at Alma area and end our marketwork at 1.30 because I need to perform my Friday prayer. I sent them back to the hotel for lunch and then they need to rush to Penang for their flight. I advised them to make a move early to avoid traffic jam at Penang specially Bayan lepas area. So far so good and just wait any comment through the Email to OAJ and YKM from Vella.
After the market work Vella did mention what our SD said to them about the Milo " I don't see any problem with the off take in the market it's just a matter from where the retailer buy it " and YKM said that our salaries were paid by Milo and any drop in Milo sale will effect us. SD had talked to the audience on the Maggi Road show that they are going to control the IKAs prices specially Milo the most sensitive issue in the market. Just wait and see.........................who will determine the market price?
