LIFE : SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN......


A friend of mine has been given a task to handle Ika's by his Exec. Ika's stand for International Key Account those are the big Hypermarket such as Carefour, Giant, Tesco and Jusco. He is covering Bkt. mertajam and Sungai Petani area with a total target of Rm 6 million. Entitle him to be called The Six million dollar man for Sale area 2 team. He told me that It's not easy to handle such a big Hypermarket because they won't listen to you even though it is our responsible to suggest order according to their stock balance. The bigger they are the headache you are. If anything should happen in term of out of stock or etc and you are responsible to it. Than I told him, whatever you do, everything must be recorded to prove that you have done your job. Same thing goes to those who handle RHTOs. The buyers are trained to squeeze you for a good bargain and trade offers. where esle we are trained to be more professional in handling buyers for a win win situation. Different buyers with different approach. At the end of the days only numbers is counted to judge you how good you are to persuade or convince the buyers and how much can you bring a sale to the company.
