LIFE : HADISTH OF SADAQAH 21

Rasullullah Saw has said that when the wife gives something as sadaqah out of the family's provision, without being wastefull, she will receive a reward for that and the husband also receives a reward because he was the earner; while the person[ man or woman] who arrangements for the food also earn a reward; all three will be rewarded' without reduction in any one's share.

LIFE : HADISTH OF SADAQAH 20

Abu Hurairah Radhiallaho anho asked Rasullullah Sallallaho alaihe wasallam, " What is the best Sadaqah?" The reply was " the hard effort by an indigent person; a beginning must be made on those who are dependent on you."

LIFE : HADITSH OF SADAQAH 19

Rasullullah Saw has said that whoever has faith in Allah Swt and the 'Akhirah' needs to honour his guest; a guest is entitled to special treatment for a day and night, while hospitality may be extended for three days and night; it is not proper for the guest to stay too long, as it may cause hardship to the host. [ Mishkaat]

LIFE : HADISTH SADAQAH 18

Rasullullah Saw has said that whosoever believes in Allah Swt and the day of judgement must treat his guest well, refrain from causing difficulties for his neighbour, and whatever he utter must be good, or else he should hold his tongue; the other version of this Hadisth adds: ' He should be kind to his Kinsfolk.

LIFE : HADISTH OF SADAQAH 17

Aishah radhiallaho anha has said that once someone slaughtered a goat [ and distributed some of it ] when Rasulullah SAW enquired, " what remains of the goat?" the reply was, " Only a shoulder," Rasulullah SAW said " All remains except the shoulder."

Note : The idea in this that whatever is given away for Allah's sake remains as an everlasting reward; the rest perishes unless it is spent for a worthwhile cause. Mazahir Rahmatullah alaihe has said that it point towards the ayat of Holy Qur'an

" Whatever you have in this world will perish one day [ either by its own decay or your death] that which reaches Allah remains for ever." [ an-Nahl : 96 ]

LIFE : HADITH OF SADAQAH 16

Rasulullah SAW has said that the return for a person's own virtues come to an end when he dies; but there are three such things, the returns for which keep recurring even after death; a sadaqah with recurring benefits, knowlegde from which people continue to benefit, and virtuous children who offer Du'aa for their deceased parent.

LIFE : HADITH OF SADAQAH 15

Rasullullah Saw has said that Allah Ta'ala loves three persons and detest three. Those whom Allah loves whom are [1] a person who, when a begger came and begged from some people, none of them being related to him, and refused by them, got up quietly and gave him something secrectly so that onlt Allah Ta'ala and the begger knew of it: [2] a person who was one of a party that travelled all night till sleep [ for a short while]' he got up and enggaged in devotion, begging for Allah's favour with importunity and reciting from the holy Qur'an and [3] a person who was in a detechement that fought in jehaad and was defeated but he went straight a head till he was martyred or granted victory. The three whom Allah Ta'ala detest are old man who indulges in adultery, a begger who is proud and a rich man who is oppressive.
