When I was in Satun Province, I had an opportunity to visit one of bird breeder in Chebilang in Satun province. This special breed bird in Malay they call it Merbok. Don't be surprised some of this bird price range from RM5000 to RM100,000 per bird. All birds will be tagged by the owner according to the history of the bird. The price is based on the sound from the bird. All this birds are breed to become a champion in Bird sound competition that held every years all around the Thailand. The best bird that produce a very good sound will win the competition and of course the price of the bird will be higher as high as RM100,000 per bird.
