LIFE : UPDATE OF WANG KLIAN MALAYSIA-THAILAND SUNDAY MARKET 2013

This is latest update of Wang klian Saturday & Sunday market in Thailand and Malaysia border. More organise and clean. You can buy almost everything from local product specially made in Thailand from household,groceries,fruit and local handcraft. On these two days Saturday and Sunday all Malaysian and Thailand citizen are allowed to cross border without any travel document but strictly only one kilometer from the both border area for shopping. For Malaysian they call it Pasar Minggu and in Thai they call it Nat. Worth visit when your visit Perlis. Situated in Wang Klian in Malaysia border and Satun Province in Thailand. 

LIFE : TIMAH TASOH LAKE PERLIS

Tasik Timah-Tasoh, built in 1992 with a cost of RM67 million, supplies water to Perlis folks as well as prevents any occurrence of flood in the state. The lake can hold about 35.3 million liters of water at any one time.

​The scenic Timah-Tasoh Lake is also a sanctuary for migratory birds especially from the cold countries as this freshwater lake with its natural surroundings provides much needed food and shelter for these birds.

​Located within the Perlis State Park, this lake has also been identified as a suitable site for fish breeding and other aquaculture projects.
